Vicu always knew she wanted to be a theatre actress. She would rehearse plays in her room as a toddler until she was old enough for acting classes. Her determination to be onstage, no matter the country or the language, has fuelled her to grow her network and participate in local collectives. In addition to acting, she has a passion for dramaturgy. Vicu is currently busy writing her next project.

Cabaret features extraordinary characters, like Sally Bowles and documents the period of German political unrest that led to the holocaust. In these times of Putin and populism, it retains every shred of its relevance. Featuring a live band, QETC’s production was the pinnacle of their 20th anniversary year.

The ending as envisioned by director Mark Winstanley is a gut-wrenching punch to the throat, resulting in utter silence from the audience. The Emcee leave us utter heartbroken with his adieu.
